Meet the Speakers
Myja Gary (She/Her)
Myja Gary is an experienced communications leader with a 7+ year track record in crafting innovative strategies and creative campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. Currently Myja shines as an Internal Communications Manager at Zoom where she leads HR communications and employee engagement, serving over 7,000 employees in collaboration with senior leaders. She is also the co-lead of Zoom Soul, Zoom’s Black Employee Resource Group where she helps foster space and opportunities to advance diversity and women’s leadership in tech. As the co-lead of Zoom Soul, she helped launch and lead the first Black Employee Resource Group, Zoom Soul; the inaugural Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) week; and the first DEI Report. She has also helped organize internal multi-cultural activations for Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Pride Month to name a few. With a Bachelor’s degree from the esteemed N.C. A&T State University and a Master’s degree from the renowned Georgetown University, Myja is armed with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that set her apart. As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, she embodies sisterhood, leadership, and servantry in all she does.
Ayana Gardner (She/Her)
Ayana is an accomplished professional with over 13 years of experience in the telecommunications and call center operations industry. She is passionate about digital transformation and customer-led product development. Previous success in direct sales, business consulting and cloud infrastructure enable Ayana to bring a diverse perspective. Currently, Ayana is a valuable part of the CX channel team at Zoom, championing there contact center, virtual agent and workforce management initiatives that drastically improve both the overall customer experience but the also equally important employee experience. In her work she strives to make customer experience simple, easy and enjoyable for her partners.
David Aderonpe (He/Him)
David Aderonpe is an immigrant from Nigeria who relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma as a teenager. He now heads the Product Management team focused on the Government vertical for Zoom Video Communications. He is responsible for the vision and strategy of Zoom’s premier public sector platform dedicated to the mission of the U.S. Federal, State/Local Government as well as other approved enterprises and organizations supporting their mission. He was previously a Principal Product Manager at Splunk where he worked on building out the Splunk Cloud Platform and subsequently securing the Splunk Enterprise product. Before that, he spent some time at Salesforce, Sony, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. David holds an MBA from California State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University.
