To create a community at MIT Sloan to learn and share knowledge about operations. In particular we go beyond the academic curriculum with hands-on experience through speaker events on operational issues and applications, plant and company tours to see operations in practice, competitions and simulations, recruiting information for internship and full-time positions in operations, connection to other MIT programs (SCM, LGO, MBAn, SDM) and other schools for their events. We also organize one of the largest operations simulation competitions for students from all over the world.
