Through the collaborative efforts of our diverse writers and departments, the Aquinas College Writers Guild aims to form and foster an inclusive community of independent writers, establish a supportive network of creative writing enthusiasts, and provide a fellowship of artists within which to create, coexist, write, share, and develop our common passion for the written craft of expression.
During our meetings, writers are encouraged to write and discuss their work. We also play fun writing games and discuss upcoming writing events. Most of our events are generally open to the public. So, feel free to show up to any and all of our events!
You DO NOT have to be a professional writer by any means to attend these meetings and events. All you have to be is someone who is interested in writing and reading, or just someone who loves to hang out with the goofy writing crowd.
Our general meetings run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST on Fridays. All of our general meetings, unless indicated otherwise, are remote through Zoom. If you wish to join our meetings, contact our president.
